A smart solution

Many councils and sports organisations find themselves in the position of needing to update their sports lighting to meet current standards but they just don’t have the funds to invest into a full LED system. We have worked with local councils to refurbish the existing HID floodlight system to achieve compliance at a fraction of the cost. 

Whilst it is true the efficiency of LED is without peer, it is not true to assume this is the only solution, especially for sports lighting. Older style lighting can be brought up to standard and the life extended, saving significant costs. This cost saving can be redirected to more worthy energy efficient projects.

ASCL has been engaged on numerous projects where the end result was to defer LED placement in lieu of refurbishment of older lights, backed up by solid business cases.
